Some Fuss Shared
As I mentioned in previous post,I'd work on this kit a bit. mostly on panel lining.
While the marker work wonder for lining, I found they're easy to be rubbed off. The line need to be deepen, so this is what I do:
Using a scribing tool(mine's salvaged compass),carefully trace the 'armor separation'.Repeat few times.
Sometimes you end up with burr, like this one.Left unattended & it'll ruin your lining. So take a art(any) knife, deburr it.
Now we can back to business:
Touch your marker on the part, & enjoy the beauty of panel line.\(^o^)/
Some clean-up required after that of course.
Mr. Color Thinner(Jr.)+Gundam Marker Gray
Good for me this is just another HG kit, making this chores of lining easy-time wise. Can't tell how long it'll take if it's a *cough* Seed *cough* MG kit. Nevertheless, I'm happy with the result. Though I think the gray marker is more to black when applied, kinda kill the tone. Brown/magenta marker can give better effect I'd say,a better shade.
Onto some 'real' paintwork.\\\(*o*)///
Starting with body+torso part.
Some masking required, me just use cheap-hardware one lah.
Close-up:
Chest Armor
Inner lower-back thruster
Now that's some serious-looking GN Drive.
Onto Arm+Shoulder:
Details:
Test-fit the arms,inner shoulder painted.looking good~
Elbow 'joint'. The right elbow was like, "Kyaaaaah!!!"
& now, Legs+Feet:
Can you spot the differences?
Here's what:
Fruit of my labor, which my Nikon L23 can barely capture.(>.<)
As you can see, I only touch grey-required area. There're still other to cover; black & orange. That have to wait for the paint, which I don't have right now. But for the orange, you know,I think I've a better option...*grin*
Till next post folks~!
